ys1 tranny? lsd or not?
from what i understand only the jdm ys1 came with lsd... usdm ys1 from the 92-93 gsr tegs did not come with lsd... the jdm ones are expensive.. you are looking at least $500 but most likely more...
good luck though!

i bought an integra xsi engine from hmotorsonline.com and it came with a ys1 cable tranny. they had an option for me to add the lsd but i didn't so if you did the same from another company you might not have gotten an lsd.

LSD should also be stamped on the tranny (although it may be stamped it may of had the LSD removed).
I have a YS1 LSD and I didn't mind spending the extra $. This way I can rebuild it with usdm 92-93 gsr tranny parts.
The Y1 LSD doesn't have USDM support, I think it's JDM only. So if your synchros go out you might just have to buy a new tranny. Also I believe the tranny casing and bell housing in the YS1 is a bit "beefier" than the Y1.
It's 6 am. but I think that's right.
