Well......as many of you know...I'm a complete ***** for jdm goodies. But being in the US usually means that we have to go through a middle man that rapes us on shipping and pricing.
I just got my packages today from Mirai and am very happy. Of course he has to make a cut too, but I would sure as hell rather give a little extra money to another ITR owner then give it to some money hungry jerks that have horrible customer service. I won't mention names.
Anyway enough of my rambling....I just wanted to say thanks for helping a brother out. I got a Beat rush cooling plate and a cf duct for the jdm bumper so I can connect it to my Ice Box.
<------Ken who is
as a clam, but needs to lay off the CC for a little while and focus on getting ready for more track time and Expo!

MiraiZ is a good guy. He got me started on my conversion a little over two weeks ago. He got my fenders for me. I don't mind putting dough into another fellow ITR owner's hands. I don't post very often, but here's a bump for you.
Low poster!!!
Low poster!!!
thanks guys...basically if it fits in the truck of my R i can help you find anything...anything bigger will take some work and may not be worth the shipping expense...if you need anything, just ask and I'll look for you...
Kendrick...still no Takata's BTW...these are getting pretty scarse...but I still have my eye out.

You never answer my request on tire pressure factory specs on your
98specR 16's with 215-45-16?
"the TRIC site, and they also say DC2R (98spec)
as F=2.1kg, R=1.9kg. (factory setup) "
Is this correct??

Sorry abou that....my car has been in and out of garages for that last 6 months now, that I haven't had time to check anything. i just got my car back from the biannual inspection, so I will check. Those numbers seem about right (maybe a bit on the high side to conserve fuel)...but about right.
The rule of thumb that I was taught was that 35psi is about right for any car...
EDIT: wait...let me check of the numbers ...those numbers may not be right afterall

here are the correct numbers:
w/ Bridgestone Potenza RE010 F=210kpa/R=190kpa (same for Yokohma Tires)
w/ Falken Azenis F=220kpa/R=200kpa
Tires are rated at 215/45 R16..

I've gotten a lot of inquiries on the cooling panel I sent Ken.
I had it for only a day, but it is good quality. Not flimsy yet very light weight. Only draw back is that it will only fit JDM fronts. Also it seems that there may need to be some drilling to line up the holes on USDM to JDM conversions...
Laile Beatrush makes these, so its pretty good quality. I don't like posting prices (not because I'm out to rip people off) it becasue the price I get them for also varies. I have direct contact with a reliable supplier. They are BRAND NEW in the box and never been used. IM me for a price if you are interested.
Ican get them for other cars as well like the EK series Civic.
here is a pic...

Also a side effect I noticed after installing the cooling plate. It kind of acts as a security item as well. JDM front ends have a grill that leaves the hood cable very accessible.
With the cooling plate on, it blocks anyone from reaching into your grill!
Thanks again Mirai!
The extra hole that you will have to drill is for the AC line bracket coming from the fan. It's a gold bracket clamped to a hose that Mirai Z's car does not have pictured.
Install time after I figured out what was going on......5 minutes

-I can only get my hands on Beatrush cooling plates right now (for a decent price). They are REALLY good quality. I was pretty impressed!
-OEM car covers I may be able to get BUT they are not cheap!!! Last time I looked, they were a couple of hundred dollars (at least). Now that the DC2 is being phased out, I expect them to be more expensive...but I will take a look...
Anyone interested in the cooling plate, please IM me first...my supplier had an immediate supply of only 5 the last time I checked...any more will be on back order.

As of now the pictures will have to wait. The cooling plate is on my car, but it looks exactly like what miraiZ has pictured up there except that my car is black. The cf duct I still need to work on. Need to cut out my plastic vent on the jdm bumper, then I need to drill the cf piece and rivet it into the bumper. After that I am going to use clamps to connect dryer hose to the cf duct and then have the dryer hose ziptied to point at my icebox inlet.

Hmm.. I like the idea of the plate. Everytime I open the hood, I see dead bugs all over the front radiator support. This would help deflect bugs and yes, keep it more secure.
