weld
grind
fill
sand
prep
prime
paint
blend paint
clear

its not as easy as it looks id say go to someone that knows how to do it and use good paint products
id say wait until you get a paint job to do it but while you have the holes there fill them up with little caps that you dont notice much

Don't mean to hijack your thread and please forgive my
but I have a question. My 94 RS does not have the same type of latch as
my 98 GS did. If I shaved the trunk keyhole how would i open the trunk?

my how to:

get in car
drive to body shop
hand body guy keys to car
he will weld sand and paint your freshly shaven trunk holes
go get your car back
marvel at how worthless it was to spend that much cash on getting two small holes removed

ok first of get the mesh screen that has the adhesive, put it coverin the hole on the inside, prep sum bondo and cover up the holes, let bondo dry, start sanding bondo till it becomes flat (a good way to tell is close ur eyes and rub ur fingers across an unaffected part of the trunk, then rub them over the bondoed area, u can feel any abmormalities) when u are sand start with rough sand paper or else ull be sanding forever, then work ur way down to finer grits as it gets smoother and more flat. if there are n e noticable scrathes use primer filler. then use primer, then get it painted. yay complete!!!

Ok, you want the lowrent way to do it.. and it works..

Take a screw driver or something that wil fit in the hole but not all the way, and basiclaly you want to dent the hole in a little bit.. so it sits concave.... then grind down to metal.. take your bondo, apply a thin coat.. wait 30mins, then apply another coat... then sand smooth, primer and your done... you can do holes like the front emblem holes on a civic with bondo and have on worries.. but bigger holes like the one on the rear of a civic hatch h emble, you need to weld that... or it will eventually crack if it gets hit.
