Bronze Wheel Paint???
I am getting a new set of rims, and I want to paint them bronze. Nobody I have seen yet has bronze "wheel" paint. What would you guys recommend I use to get a bronze color for my wheels, and how would you recommend I go about prepping them for paint??
Thanks!!
Thanks!!
Here ya go. The name of the paint is Premum Rust-oleum metallic. It is a REALLY good strong paint... The number is 7274. Antique Brass metallic...

Those rims look like ****... The walmart paont ones.. With the RIGHT paint, dont skimp, they look JUST as nice... If you want em to look JUST like a rota, buy a nice can of clear coat... People wont even be able to tell... If you buy good paint, they will look good, not like this POS here.
Sorry, but those rims look like ***... *** ***..

actually, I'm getting your old N1R's from sims. I put one on at his house yesterday, and it looked pretty good in white, so I am gonna try that out first.
I thought the motegi's were cool 3 years ago when I got them, but now I am really getting tired of them, and all the ricers have them on the galants and probes

Yeah, sims asked me if I wanted them, and I didnt even think twice about it. I really liked them on the integra, and they look really good on my civic too.
Ok, I have a question. What if you dont like it?? How can you safely remove the paint?? I have silver MOMO's, will it strip the silver off too?? Or should I be sanding off the silver prior to painting in the first place?? Basically I'm wondering if there is no turning back once doing this.

you should sand before painting.. but if you aren't satisfied with the end result then you can always use aircraft stripper to remove the paint.. i recently painted my rims bronze using the paint they suggested on this thread and im very much satisfied with the turnout..
