Default Skunk2 help AGAIN

here's the old post
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=653871&page=1

okay, well we did get the car running, (NO MORE LIMP MODE) and the starting is not ruff anymore, but the car is idling weird. it goes from 1000 to 2000, back to 1000 to 2000 when in neutral or when the clutch is engaged. but once on in gear (any gear) the car runs perfect at correct idle. but once back in neutral or clutch engaged, the car goes back to that weird idle. i believe its not a vaccum because its not causing the car to idle weird when in gear (perfect idle when in gear). any help would be helpful. thanks

im pretty sure coolant is good..
and we're sure its not the tps either because we took it off and it did affect idle, plugged it back in and idle went back to the 1000-2000 thing...

u really wanna know why.... try buying a new IAC.... idle air control system... and honestly u wasted ur time buying the Skunk2, all u had to do was polish ur stock intake manifold and it would give u the same performance as paying 300 dollars getting a intake manifold that has SKunk2 on it... the same thing happened to my car, after i polished and ported my intake manifold, and i ran it under my computer and it said the code for the IAC, it runs around $156 new, u should try hitting up a junk yard and getting it.... or try cleaning ur stock one out and hope that it might work to save u some money. Good luck , and if ya need me holla...Chango_racing@yahoo.com.... peace..

well the only thing i could suggest would be taking it to a mechanic and putting it under their computer, it'll tell u rt off the bat wut is wrong wit ur car... if you have already tryed all of those then something is wrong.... so take it to a mechanic and try and get that looked at.. the other thing i can think of is u might need an air/fuel ratio controller, but i doubt it, u should try taking it to get check on...find a hook up and get it done for free if not it's not that much...

Tighten the diaphram. Also take off your IACV and cleen those screens.

Tighten the idle screw on the throttle body, and make also sure there is no air in the water system.

thanks brandon..but ive done all that...
1. cleaned out the iac, switched it with another iac from a working gsr and still same results..
2. burped the cooling system, no more bubbles, and hoses are hard as hell
3. tightened the FITV all the way, still same results

anymore ideas?

you sure the intake manifold gasket is not leaking air anywhere? or that you dont have an open vacuum prt/line? or a cracked vacuum line?
i have been told that spraying carb cleaner over the manifold and when the engine revs higher than normal you have found the area of the leak...dunno if that is any help but maybe?
