CV boot maintenance?
Is there anything I can do to prevent changing CV boots every 2 years? Also, is this typical for lowered Honda's?
The car is lowered on H&R Race springs and Tokico blues, which bring it down 2.5 inches.

what type of boot are you using? the quick boot with the splits down the middle or are you using the full sealed boots? the split boots are junk and you will have to replace them every 2 years they dont last. It is best to use the full boots like the oem style. they last much longer than 2 years.
If the full sealed boot is OEM, then that is what I use.
I have had problems with every Honda I owned.
Is there an aftermarket boot that is stronger?

Get a CV boot kit from the parts store shood be good for more than 2 years. I tore up some stock ones when my car was lowered, and just got new ones, and works fine for me.
orielly sells a boot kit w/ everything you need for 8 bucks per boot. grease, clamps, and all... just take the axle off take it apart and put on the new boot then reinstall. ive never heard of any way to keep it from ripping
i had to replace a boot last year and havent had any problems since. the orielly boot seemed to be a bit more heavy duty than the stock one too.
