what cams should i go with....

Default what cams should i go with....

I have a 01 itr motor...and i want to upgrae my cams but dont know what to go with...plus if i go wit the new cams should i replace everything else in the head...but i dont want to change any of the compression...and once i get them in i plan on goin to ITB's...so i need some in put...once i get all of it done im goin to run a standalone system...anyone?

unless you have a really good header, intake, tuning program, injectors, cam gears and extra money for tuning. then its a waste of money to get cams

anyone who says "skunk2, ef-1, toda bla blah" are retards because no one has any idea what your setup is.

u want reliability, peak dyno hp #'s, phat midrange???

well i got all of what u listed...aem cam gears, reactive header<--waitin for new one to arive.. rail, reg, and usin standalone

micro-tek...uses plasma scanner and ****...pretty sweet...and header not sure what one to get yet...gotta pick between jdm dc or this new one that twists and turn cant remember the name

Get a good header b4 u get cams, that way when u get the cams they will be able to flow to thir fully potential.
Headers: DTR(www.DTRFAB.com) SMSP, Hytech. Any of these will give you a huge power jump, no BS

i had a sorta similiar setup once and tuned s2s2 made nice power up top for me

Which header?? Hopefully the Race header.

well since you want to keep your compression the same... I personally like the skunk2 stage 1 cams. Maybe replace the inner valve springs with stiffer one's, get your stand alone, tune the car, and extend the redline a bit.
