I have a 96 civic EX w/ keyless entry, I was told that the keyless entry system is built into the stock radio.. I want to install a aftermarket headunit. I know I have to keep the stock radio and hide it in the dash. My question is the spliceing of the wires. what harnesses do I need and how do I go about splicing everything. How much do the harnesses cost, and what moron decided it was a good idea to build the entry system into the radio!!!!!!!!!!

 

The radio should come with the harness if not it shouldnt be that expensive and should be straight foward with the manual. I installed one on my 98 ex and it didnt effect my keyless entry and i dont remember doing anything special for the locks. hope that helps.
