Visual differences between B vtec and non-vtec oil pumps?
I'm building a high comp. LS bottom end, and I have three oil pumps laying around. I know at least one of them is a vtec pump, but I can't seem to find any visual difference between the three. What's the easiest way to tell? Even internally they seem pretty much the same.
Thanks,
Adam

I thought this would be an easy one for you guys.
Help me out, I'm not going to run an LS pump on a built bottom end.

Great, thanks a lot! That may help me... although my three pumps all seem pretty much the same, externally and internally. WOrth a shot, though.

The springs are different, the gsr spring is stiffer. Thats the difference, and the reason the gsr flows more.
