Default Squealing from front left wheel?

I noticed a squealing coming from ny front left wheel the other day. I have a 97 Accord EX with 123,500 miles and have never run in to this before. It happened while travelling at 15-45 miles per hour and didn't seem to change pitch or stop while braking. But it was very intermittent. It would squeal for a mile or 2 and then stop for 1-10+ miles. This lasted for about 50 miles. If I would come to a complete stop, then start up again, sometimes it would go away, sometimes it wouldn't. My question is, is there any kind of a wheel bearing that occasionally goes bad in these cars, what else could it be, how much might the fix be, and could I do it myself, I'm relatively mechanically inclined. Thanx for the input.

sounds like pad indicateor pin is rubbing up against the rotor. Check brakes.
