im blaming a rattle on my shifter b/c i remmebr alot of post talk about how they would hear vibrations when they shift due to the aftermarket shifters. ive had a tenzo-r (crap i kno) but ive had it for 3 months and it never rattles(sounds like a aluminum pan being hit with water) until the past 2 days. any suggestions on what i should check? im gonna retighten anything that has to do with the shifter. anybody have similar problems and solutions?

 

yes, they dont tend to rattle until about a month or so. For a good answer you should give more info, like did you get aftermarket bushing?

Ahh it seems faulty short-throws are the source of grief for many people, no?? Let this be a lesson to everybody, KNOW WHAT YOU'RE BUYING BEFORE YOU'RE BUY IT, and if you get it cheap from somewhere like ebay, don't be surprised if it's good for a month and it suddenly turns to ****, when your situation could have been very well prevented by investing more cash into a quality product.

hey man you might what to check out your heat sheilds..

 

i have a skunk2 aa and energy bushings, it rattles if i go over 5k rpms unless im holding it in my hand. ive checked if its hitting the exhaust and its not. my guess is its the bushings

 

thanks for the replys. im gonna pik up i think its called energy bushings...its polyurethane so i guess ill look into the heatshield and the stock bushings i kept it on. if not, i was thinking of picking up a dc ss b/c its much shorter than all teh rest ive seen, i think skunk2 is kinda long..?

my b&m does the same thing, but you get used to it
