With my 1993 Civic LX (DX w/ Power windows, locks)...about same weight as your car, with the stock motor, and intake and exhaust I ran 16.9 @ 80mph

oh yeah, car is 5 speed and your motor is a D15B7

Well... I have a friend with a 2000 Civic DX... at the time I went to the track, I had a 2000 Durango R/T... His engine was stock, and so was mine, but I also had the grip of AWD He ran 16.1 (with just an intake filter) and a little weight redux and I ran 16 Flat. 5100lbs baby!! hahaha.... needless to say, I sold it and bought my hatch

EDIT: Oh yeah... he also had a clutchmasters Stage 3 clutch.

DX coupes run low 17s to high 16s stock. Most of the problem is their long gearing.
