Help Me I Need To Fix Idle On GSR Idles Ar 200rpm!!!!!! 9:32 PM 10/26/2003


I just built my gsr, jdm itr 11:1 comp pistons,skunk2 stage 2 cams, pnp head, skunk2 full valvetrain with high comp valves, skunk2 itr manifold, aem cam gears... the car feels good(cant punch it yet need to break in the piston rings/valvetrain...) but it idles at like 200 rpms, i seen this guy tune the idle to raise the idle a lil bit on a toyota cressida can this be done with a GSR and if so can yal help me out! the car dies when reving that low, its the only flaw that needs to be fixed !

 

mess with the TPS sensor. but first try to raise it from that screw on the TB.

buy yah, mess with your TPS sensor.

 

adjustment screw on the TB? or how about adjusting the throttle cable itself?

 

I'd say check that throttle cable too....

 

200 RPM as indicated on what? VAFC or the cluster?

yeah i would check that throttle cable and the TPS sensor

 

Check to see if the Idle Air Control valve is clogged.
