Default Stock GSR rods with CTR Pistons

I am currently undergoing a major all motor rebuild on my 94 GSR. Im not very familar with honda rods and their capabilities. From what I understand the GSR rods and CTR pistons will yeild a 12:1 CR which is perfect for my Skunk2 Stage 2s. I have used Stage 2 on my previous build. They make most of their power over 6000-10000. My question is would the honda rods be able to hold up to around 9000-9500rpm at that CR will alot more uprgrades. I have a set of Eagle rods if necessary but the CTR pistons I have will not work with them..

Thanks for the help..

im also undergoing a bottom end rebuild as well but instead im installing 81.25mm jdm itr pistons into my b18c1 block and been debating whether or not to upgrade to ITR rods...i plan in the future to upgrade my valve train with either skunk2 stage II or toda B's. I know this setup will yield about 11.7:1 c/r...i've been told that the safe bet is to go with the ITR rods but other option is to polish, balance and shot peen the sir-g rods...decisions, decisions any input is much appreciated...
