Default cyclinder head removal

when you pull your cyclinder head does every thing come off with it cams lifters retainers and so on or do you have to remove all of that in order to get it off

reason for question is that i want to put a gsr or b16a head on my ls block but i only put stuff on my car that i can do my self (money issues) and i found a b16a head for $800.00 brand new is that a reasonable price

Just the cams and head bolts have to come out for the head to come off.

$800 for a PR3 head seems way too much...unless it also comes with the distributor, all the sensors, cams, valve cover, fuel rail, injectors, FPR, ITR throttle body, and ITR intake manifold. Then maybe I'd consider it a fair buy.
