Default Can my b18c1 hit 200whp and 12 second slips?

Just wondering your oppinions on if i can do it. I have a 94 cx and i just put in a b18c1 motor. Gsr tranny with qualfe lsd and ITR final drive ACT clutch stock flywheel AEM cold air. Over bore throttle body( not sure how many mm but it was port matched to my skunk 2 intake manifold) skunk2 stage 2 cams, skunk 2 valvetrain and valves and cam gears. New everything ITR pistons, dc sports 4-1 header 2.5 inch exhaust.Msd ignition components, Hasport drag mounts, I have an AEM EMS. Think 200 whp and 12 sec's is within reach? oppinions and suggestions welcome.

200 seems a tad high, but you never know. as far as the 12 second slips go. get your car on a diet. i know its light from the factory but gut it out. get lighter wheels. get some slicks. you need it to be under 2000 lbs with you in it if you want 12's with your set-up. and i hope you are pretty close to sea level too. good luck

12s in a gutted hatch with slicks isnt that hard to achieve if you drive well and make at least 200 whp IMO.

Well i am hoping to get some dyno time this weekend. Hopefully can get it running pretty strong with the ems. I used to have a b18b1 motor in my car and in street trim on street tires with a stock motor i ran a 14.6 so i am hoping if i can get it running well this weekend it would be able to run low 13's until i get slicks. Anyone have any suggestions or tips for when i hit the dyno. Like some settings you guys have so i can try out and see what i get with them. Like timing advance? or vtec engagment. Any help would be cool and i will post pics of dyno as soon as i get it dynoed. thanks

for the vtec x-over just do one dyno pull with it however you think is a good place. then check where the power starts falling off on the low rpm lobe. you want it to cross over right after it makes peak tq and before it sarts to really die off.

im going to guess in the mid 5k's for your cams.

If a JDM b18c5 hits 200hp, why couldn't you do so by building a b18c1?
