Stupid NHRA
Let the pros run but screw the little guys
The ash from all of the fires is thick everywhere in the L.A. basin; one of the fires was not very far from the track-a few miles away.
If they shut down the brackets they should have shut down the pros. If they let the pros run, they should run the brackets.

I agree, it was not fair to all the ET class cars not to run. They did it because of scheduleing problems, but I dont think it was fair. The little guys deserve and paid the same money as the big guys did.

i have family out in san bernardino, i did not know how bad the fire was out there until my dad called and left an update on the recorder. my uncles neighborhood has had some trees go up in flames (thankfully none of the houses have), and the company my aunt works for basically burnt to the ground. i was unaware that it was burning that close/and inside the city..... my prayers are with all the people this fire affected. think about that for a second. u could be living that nightmare just 30 minutes away, then you wouldnt really be complaining about what classes they didnt run today due to the inconivinience of the ash.

Yes it was unfortunate to hear that in the morning. I guess it's okay for me though. Now I have time to throw on my extended wheel studs and not be one of the few guys running street tires in the ET2 class. That and uuuh I'm missing like 100 horsepower that should be there.

There was no pay out so they should have refunded the entry fee. There's no way there going to be able to reschedule at pomona. They better not try to relocate it I payed to run at the best track in cali. What a shitty weekend I even missed Leslie's 9 taking a leak

I would like all the people who've been hating on NOPI and giving a thumbs up to the NHRA to officially step up and offer equal criticism of their favorite sanctioning body.

Bueller? Bueller?

after seeing the coverage of the fires around the area I am surprised they ran the event at all. Looks like they must have been racing in the heart of hell and from some of the stories told some people deserved to be there.

Didn't look like it was a healthy atmosphere for anyone to be in yet alone try to hold an event. How was attendance, I think most people had more important things on their minds that day.

My heart goes out to all those affected by the fires. I hope things work out for everyone.

Anthony

Maybe you shouldnt have continued on racing to support the "little guys"... The ET bracket will be continued to a later time so you "little guys" get the chance to finish. So quit your bitching.

Serioulsy you guys gotta stop with the lil guys BS. IF everyone RAN the race it would not have been able to finish on sunday which would have led to racing on monday.IF we ran on monday most wouldnt show up anyways due to jobs, school and other responsibilities.

NHRA will reschedule the ET finals on a later date. It will be fair to all ET racers. For all of you who have a your stubs and passes and what not, dont throw them away. IF they canceled it everyone who have had to go home aways. Some woulnt have been able to leave due the the closer of the 15 and the 210. At least you ET guys got to see some record breaking consirdering all the things happening around us. You guys have not been forgotten. Im sure many of you are H-T members or no some one and someone from NHRA will post reschedule the new dates.

My hearts also go out to the families who homes where lost. Shawn Carlson( PRO FWD ) and Danny GARICA(NATIONAL TECH DIRECTOR) a few to mention in the racing industry

yeah- everyone will definitely get to run again. that shouldn't be a problem. Just Pray you get to run at Pomona so you can get the quality you paid for.

Yeah, I'm seeing that already from some of the players in question. Some of the same things the NDRA was being criticized for after Houston and Fontana are being dismissed with a wave of the hand. Ahh, to be ignorant and opinionated....life would be easier
