USDM B18C1 Motor swap for sale
97 GSR motor swap:
Details:
- Complete 97 B18c1 motor swap. It comes with an obd1 p72 ECU to make it an easy swap into an OBD1 Civic. Using a jumper harness it's an easy swap into an OBD2 Civic.
- Clutchmasters stage 4 clutch ($400), and clutchmasters 9 lbs flywheel ($300). (Sounds tough, but has a very light pedal feel)
- Skunk2 intake manifold, inlet has been ported out to 68 mm. ($320 new, having it ported out to 68mm from 64mm was an extra $120)
- Hondata intake manifold gasket ($80)
- Longer intake manifold studs for proper fit using the thicker intake manifold gasket
- Energy suspension polyurethane shifter bushings for the shift linkage ($20)
- GSR Integra cat is also available for purchase. It's OBD2, primary o2 sensor included and in good shape. Secondary o2 non functional, wire has been cut. Easily replaced if you plan to run obd2.
Engine was bought from Jerome Soh, and it came from Import Auto Salvage. It had 19,000 miles when it
was purchased. I have the receipts to prove it.
I'm not positive how many miles are on the engine but I calculate it to be less than 45,000
Motor has had its oil changed promptly at 3000 miles with nothing but Mobil 1 oil, and Honda oil filters.
Transmission fluid has been changed yearly using Genuine Honda MTF
New cap & rotor, wires, and plugs installed earlier this year.
Asking price: $3500. Buyer will pay all shipping costs. If you want the catalytic converter add $100 to the price. The motor has not been pulled yet, I will pull the motor within' the next week. Price is extremely reasonable considering the cost of the extra parts.
I'm in the Northern Virginia area; I would prefer to sell locally. I will work with the buyer on delivery, if they are close by.
