The light and the shift light on my tach are not a bright as the use to be what could cause this i just got a new alternater(sp) so that's not it what else can cause this also when i hooked up the tach i ran the wires to the fuse box in the car and just wrapped them around the prongs on the fuse.

How would i go about installing it the right way i ran the green wire to the back of the gauge cluster how do i install the others the right way.

 

try soddering it to the cig lighter
