Default 97 Civic Stock Radio

I am trying to hook my ipod into my car audio system, but I am having a problem. When I bought my car (97 EX), it came with a pioneer headunit and no stock radio. So I can't do remote entry or the dome light. The problem is that I need the stock radio to hook up a auxillary input to attach the ipod. I have the opportunity to buy a stock radio from a 97 LX. It is the one without the cassette. Is this the same radio that came with the EX's? Also, does this radio support remote entry? I still have the remote, so will I be able to use it with a different radio?

you can tell by looking at the back of the radio
if there is an extra plug entry that's green, and there's a little black plastic antenna thingy, then it will do the Keyless. IIRC, as long as it doesn't come out of a DX or CX you should be fine
