Interior trim painting?
I bought a used black dash which is pretty faded in certain areas. Also has some stains. What kind of interior paint have you guys had the most success with?
Well you can lightly sand it and then rattle can and clear it, if you take your time it will look great, but if you just half *** it it will be shitty.

I've always wondered about turning the dash on an Si or Hatch from gray to black....gray is so much less sporty than black. Kinda the same thing you're talking about, except the whole dash.
Wouldn't a spray-dye of some sort work? I mean, the dash is a little porous, I'd think it would absorb the dye if you let it sit for a while.....? The dash isn't like seats or anything, it doesn't get worn on too much. I'd think that would work.

yeah i sprayeed it with touch'n tone all purpose flat black canned spray paint, as for prepperation, i just cleaned it really well with windex and armorall cleaner to remove any sort of guck that would cause my dash to chip later on or not bond good. then i lightly sprayed about 7 or 8 very light coats (take your time!) until i got it how i wanted it, let it dry, and carfully put the dash back in. it looks better than stock, but the real treat comes after you let it sit for about 2 or 3 weeks, then your put the goodies on it (i just used armor all) OMG looks better stock, but yeah if you do decide to do it, the outcome is well worth your time. ill try and post a pic up if i can get off my lazy *** and take one. but yeah whatever you decide to do, good luck
