Ok something is wrong with my fuel line. how do i change my fuel filter? and where is my fuel pump is it in tank? i have a 91 hatch w/ a 92 DX motor. My car stalled and wouldn't start back up, it had power like current wise and i have no clue wtf is wrong and i need my car back. thanks for any help

 

my car was doing this, put a new filter in and I was golden
search for fuel filter there has to be a dyi page on it

its really simple, you can pull it off in 15 minutes

 

Ok The filter is against the firewall on the passengerside with two lines attached. It is relatively small cylinder (black). Indeed the fuel pump is in tank. (a pain in the *** kind of if you dont have a good place to work. First to make sure turn your car on to the ACC position and you should hear the pump make a three second whining type noise. If you don't hear that you may have a bad fuel pump. before you go through all that just check the fuses. If that is the problem youve got some work but nothing that can't be handled in a day if you have the parts and tools. The gas tank has a drain plug, then needs to be lowered down by removing the straps, be careful to disconnect the wire for the dash indicator(full/ empty). Def. refer to the manual for some other tips.
