Default Apexi V-AFC - What exactly does it DO?

Heres what I think I know...
Controls the air/fuel ratio
Controls the VTEC X-over point

What else does this thing monitor? I.e. trottle position, rpm, speed etc etc
Fill me in cause I wanna know more bout this thing so I can determine if I really need one.
Thanks.

monitors intake manifold pressure.
add/remove fuel in low throttle position or high throttle position. in 1000rpm or 500rpm increments.
throttle position percentage.
engine RPM and has a peak hold feature.

that's about all i can think of right now.........it's pretty good when you have lots of mods. on a basically stock engine it's probably not worth it.
