Default Buddy Club Seats

Does anybody have any experience with the quality and fitment of the Buddy Club seats? They look pretty nice.

From A&J's site:
"The Racing Spec II bucket seat provides improved support and driving position for sport driving. The Racing Spec seat utilizes a strong, highly rigid design while remaining lightweight at under 5kg. The seat fabric consists of a quality twill mesh material which provides excellent durability. Buckskin cloth is used on the shoulder and thigh bolsters to protect against frequent wear. Two colors are available, black and red. Seat rails are available for most Japanese cars."

No, actually, it doesn't cost all that much, compared to other seats.

I spoke to Dave/R&D, AJ, and some other guy in california about these seats. All said the same thing - very nice, but VERY small, smaller than the Mugen S-1 seat, definitely made for the JDM sized folks out there.

I wasn't happy to hear it either.

IIRC, they are going for around 550?

Chris - getting an SPG whenever the time comes for a seat.

I agree... great price. actually, some company in california has one more in stock for much less. I can't remember what their name is... i'll see if I can find it in my email.

Problem is... Can't squeeze in the seat if it really isn't smaller than the mugen. I'm not very big, and its a bit too tight to be comfortable...

Yup they look to be a tight fit. Look similar to S1. Bride, Mugen, Recaro rails/brackets should be interchangable. As long as it is a full bucket of course.

<----looking to get bride or mugen rails to replace my visions as we speak.

the seat is very good quality, but like mentioned before...they are very narrow and short. jdmpro in torrance,ca has one in stock and is looking to get rid of it for very cheap.

Yeah, I'm 5'11" with a 34ish inch waist and I think the Mugen seat is a little tight for my preference.

If the BC's are tighter, it would be a tough fit for most of us.

Has someone really seen these for $375?! I'd have to seriously think about picking up atleast one for now at that price. From what people have been saying they'd be a good git for my 6', 130lb, 30 inch waist skinny ***. LEt me know where you guys are getting your prices from.

your weight sounds perfect, but you're probably gonna be too tall for the seat.

So Recaro bucket seat rails work on Bride Zeta? Hmm.. still trying to find the cheapest rails possible for my Bride. These seats look pretty good though.

Two months ago jdmpro had ONE BC seat in stock at 375 + shipping. That is not the regular price.
