I've used NGK platinum, and Iridium IX, and Denso Iridiums.... I didn't really notice a difference in either, but I like the NGK Iridium IX's.

I have tried many Tyoes of spark plugs and i have noticed the Bosch plugs are the first to foul out. Ngk's Are great and I still run them in my car today i have even used old plugs and they have still worked for me. Lates

The cheapest they have. Right now that's Champion coppers - $1.50 each.

Ngk's , I did happen to come across this though.

Blue line = Bosch #4227 Spark plugs
Red line = NGK V-Power Spark plugs
This motor is a single cam, all motor D16! And the customer won 1st place at the Battle of the Imports in his bracket!! Congratulations Will!
Anyway, Will, you owe me a set of Bosch plugs! Will didn't think in a million years that the Bosch would make power...then I put them in and changed his mind. We love changing peoples minds!

Is that with 2 new sets of plugs, or changing from a worn out set of NGK to a new set of Bosch???

Yes. Platinum plugs are long life plugs. Often they are labeled "high performance" and so on. The only plug i would use besides copper is iridium. Iridium unlike platinum is a better conducter by far and worth the value. Its good to change your plugs at least every 15K anyways. Im tired so thats all the detail i can write...

cool... I got confused for a second. . . I was thinking Iridium, cause that is what I am running and I like them.... But isn't the factory specified part for the Vtec Del Sol and Civic Si (B16) an NGK platinum plug?

No. Its copper. NGK BK6RE-11 is USDM models. JDM came with BK7RE-11. And i believe the iridiums are BK6RE-N11.

alittle note on those $bling$ plugs and dyno numbers. i bet those company compares worn plugs with
their new ****. of course you'll get a gain in power when you test old worn plugs against new ones.

go for the $2 a pop ngk v power. i jus change mine every 20K
