Default Will a 96 to 98 gsr ecu without the immobilizer work in my 2000

I have a 2000 gsr and the ecu was stolen and i was wondering if i could use a obd2
ecu from before the immobilizer. I'm trying to avoid the costly trip to the dealer.

Thanks

The immobilizer is a chip in the key that send a signal to the ecu. The key and the ecu have to be correct in order for the car to start. Model years for the Integra are 99 up
