First, turn off cap locks!
I would try fuel cut off and a guard dog to bark for any noise outside... A gun might be a good idea...

Hide the car when ever its not being used, Must have pager alarm that has a good range, must have a fuel cut off, must have a ign cut off, must have a hood lock relocation, Must not leave the car at any public parking facilities, Do not go to any movie theaters or malls, Only you drive the car, register the car at different address from where the car sleeps, Always KEEP IN TH GARAGE!
And must be willing to hurt (like break legs or skull smashing) someone if they mess with it.
If you have a VAFC take it out every night I believe it renders the car dead remove the ECU, wheel locks, don't leave any paper work in the car for someone to read where the car is kept, Never drive thru bad areas unless you are prepared to run for your life, camera security in garage if possible.
And none of this is a joke I'm dead serious.- It sucks owning a R in the Tristate area.

garage it.....buy a gun.....sleep in it.....have guards with guard dogs outside of it......oh and deadbolt the garage......then once its still stolen you can at least say you dont know how.
Not to make you anymore more scared, but if your car is parked on the street, in New Jersey, it will be stolen before November. Yes, I realize today is October 27th!
We have a type R club in the NY/NJ/CONN area, and so many of us have been followed home, attempted thefts, etc. etc. Now, almost all of us just hide our cars and bring them out for track days or just once in awhile.
The last two thefts: One guy they broke into the mechanic shop and cut a hole in the gate to get to the car. My other friend, they tried to break through his gate at home, when that didn't work, they followed his wife to work(she just happened to take the car, almost never does) and they took it from the parking lot. There are many, many, many more theft stories.
If you can afford it, pay for a private garage.
