How easy is it to reroute the wiring for the power door locks to the center near the E-Brake?

Good question; I'd like to know the same!... I have already replaced my inside door handle panels with ones from an RS, and hidden the power switches behind them. But I really miss this feature, and moving that functionality to the center console sounds like a very good (and secure) idea!
Anyone done this?

 

seems like we are in the same situation unfortunately no one seems to know how to do it!!!!!!!!!!

It is really easy, all you need is 3 wires; a chasis ground,wire connected to lock trigger wire, wire connected to unlock trigger wire. These wires are located at the drivers kick panel area, behind the cruise control module. It should be in the grey connector.
blk/white-lock blk/red-unlock.

BTW, if you have an alarm installed with power locks, look for the splices that the installer made at that location (assuming he got the wires from that location)

 

thanks, t, I knew somebody would have the answer!... I didn't want to go through the hassle of popping the door panel and running more wires into the door; but I didn't think about them being in the kick panel!
Now, where to find a nice 2 pole momentary rocker switch to fit the center console...
