as long as it wasn't the Super Sport version, it should be pretty g00d.

yoshi - who wonders if R#486 is in SoCal or NorCal

I've had two sets of the summer compound (non supersport), i had 205/45 R16 on my GS-R (loved them, especially compared to XGT-V4), i now have 215/40 R16 on my Type R...they're pretty good for the money, but they're kinda loud at the limit (squeal alot when you push them hard), good in dry and rain...very predictable, but not as much terminal grip as i remembered on my GS-R (might bet the difference in power, etc). You should be happy with them, they're fairly inexpensive compared to other stuff, but won't be as grippy as the RE010s. Should last longer tho.

I have them in 225/40-16 size. I really like them - although they're a bit hard compared to my Toyo Proxes RA-1s.
