I was cornering kinda hard because I was making a left while the turn signal turned yellow. And when doing this I heard a popping sound. About 2 minutes later I went over a speed bump and I heard the same sound again. Anyone knows what the popping sound may be? I checked the suspension and there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with it.

 

umm did you check the boots on the axels... maybe

yeah I checked the boots on the axles, they're ok, I checked the springs, they're ok. I'm running Si suspension on the driver's side and CX suspension on the passenger side (don't ask, when I bought the car it was like that). I just want to make sure that the suspension would hold for another month or so I won't have to tow it around for my new suspension to be installed.

 

chel engine mounts, esp the rear one, and subfame bolts.

 

hum...whenever i brake hard i hear a pop. sometimes when taking a hard corner as well.... i thought it was the lower control arm bolt. i tightened it and it stopped making pop noises. but sometimes (rarely) now it just pops when i take sharp corners. i'm going to check it out later today and see if its systematically coming loose. but its a bitch with tie bar in there. any extention will make the rachet not want to fit. and just a deep socket alone sometimes doesnt fit right.
