pics of rays valvestems
just got the rays valvestems in to replace the rubber ones that came with my te-37's. just thought i'd post some quick pictures of these little buggers.

* for what it's worth, they usually come in blue, but they have black as well for the stealth look.
i hope this is of interest to fellow rays engineering/volk owners.

exactly. they don't want any foreign debris flying around; the rubber/plastic valvestems flex a lot and are more likely to fall off. also, if there is a sudden loss of tire pressure, you could spin out and cause some havoc.

How do you figure?
Unless they take his wheels altogether, it'd be damned near impossible to remove Just those valvestems since they mount from inside the wheel.

i was hoping the caps were 7-sided with matching locking keys to prevent ricerage.

All the volks I've owned have come with black valve stems (SE-37K's 3 years ago and my CE 28N's....I don't remeber what my Gram Lights came with).
You tighten them from the inside of the wheel so if a someone wants them that bad they'll justhelp themselves to your whole ******* wheel.

but the caps aren't thief-proof...
of course u can just roll around w/just the valvestems with an exposed hole which is what i did for awhile. ended up just taking out the blue valvestems and back to good ole boring rubber!
