Default Alpine R12's repair ?

I just got a nice sealed box, with two Alpine R12's dual voice coil. I paid $50 because they had surround rubber peeling off of the cone. Other then that they looked good, cone moves smooth in and out. My question is where can I take them to repair, and is there any kind of warranty that I can use. Anyone know any place local to NYC that can fix them for me ?

I was thinking about doing the same, but Im worried about the cone being completely centered. Was your cone still connected to the ruber at all ? Mine are both totaly seperated, except for one small patch on one sub thats still connected. I know if its not totaly straight, it will rub against the coil. Im thinking about sending them back to alpine, all I need is a reciept from an authorized dealer. Anyone got their reciept ? I'll pay for a copy, you can keep the original.
