Default motor specs on 04? compression?

what are the motor specs on the 04 s2k compared to the older ones.

ive heard that they have alot of boost problems in the past. i know the older ones have a 9K redline

the new motor has an 8K and a 2.4L motor i believe. i was just wondering if the compression was lower on these motors also.

id like to see how the rear end and tranny react to boost on these new s2ks.

im just curious, if someone can inform me it will be very apreciated.

All your questions can be answered at http://www.s2ki.com and it's a 2.2L.

same hp: 240 ...a little more torque 161. more usuable powerband. 11.1:1 compression. 87.0 x 90.7 bore and stroke. 2.2 liters

turbo s2000's were pretty reliable motor wise-many in the high 200whp(280290) range without tuning or lack of(vafc).
it's the diff's that were the problem if the car was driven real hard(clutch dump's/drag racing)
