hey folks!
Anyone on here have a MagnaFlow m,uffler on their R? If so which kind? What is the sound like? If you guys went with a model with at least 2.25" inlet & at least 2.25" outlet, which model was it?

I know this is a lame question but I'm looking to buy one and I don't want anything obnoxious.

Also, remember that most recommend a 2.5" exhaust, cat, and header... The inlet on the muffler should be at least that big... If you want quiet, just get the shop to add resonators to keep the noise down, but the power up.

 

I had a magnaflow muffler on my 96 GSR and it was really obnoxious....At higher RPM's/Vtec it had a annoyingly loud raspyness. I wouldn't use one again on one of my vehicles.

 

Ditto! I had one on my civic before the Apexi I have now. Very ound and raspy. Especially if you don't have any resonators and a test pipe.
