Default Just finished lowering my car......questions

about 6 months ago, I got ran off the road by a super duty, really fucked up my whole suspension on the passenger side....struts were replaced with used struts.

Last weekend we lowered my car 2 1/4 with Goldline springs. after the car settled the passenger side settled higher than the driver side.

If anyone knows why this please let me know.....do you think it could possibly be the struts.....should I replace the struts.

Any Help would be appreciated.....help a brotha out

What kind of difference are you talking about?
like less than 1/8" or more???
if you want you can swap the springs left to right and see if the difference changes accordingly, if so, it's the springs if not then it's the car.

how high is the offset?

how long have you noticed the ofset?

my car was 2" higher on the passenger side after i changed my wheels once!!, drove around for 30 minuets in a circle so that all the pressure is put on the passenger side of the car, now my passanger side is 0.1" higher than driver

try this, put about 200-300 pounds of junk, or a family member :D in the passanger side of the car ( both front and rear) and go drive around for awhile, and make hard left turns, or just find a parking lot and go in a circle for a couple of minuets

if you still have a major diffrence go back and see if you did anything wrong, other than that it could be just that you need to seat the springs in :D

i thought always did that becuase the engine sits on the passenger side therefore making it lower.

what car is this? in both mine, my dads, and my moms car, the engines are pretty much dead center

a car that is always driven by a single person will always offset to the driver side, thats why you got to pump your tire about 1 psi more for better feel for street purposes

thats why F1 cars have the driver in the center

also a bonus in rally cars cuz of even weight distribution, i guess that navigator is good for something

all springs do it mine appears to be lower on the drivers side, as well as many of my friends, live with it or get adjustable dampers and take your car and get it corner weighted

I lowered the car 2 1/4.......the passenger side is 1 inch higher than the driver side. I think the struts aren't letting the springs settle down far enough.........

or

just do what i told you, fine a dead end street with a circle drivway ( bulvards i think there called, spelling? ) and circle that **** for 10 minuets, also get out of the car and start pumping the car up and down see if it settles some more

unless this has been going on for more than 2 weeks????
