which one?? the TRM is kinda fugly and very loud and crappy sounding. the hyper medallion is supposedly quiet, probably not as much as a apexi ws, and i'm not a fan of the straight cut tip. quality is probably high, but i'd rather get Greddy or Apexi stuff.

the hyper medallion is the quietest one, but the racing medallion probably makes the most peak power at the cost of sound. the hyper medallion probably has better low end and midrange which what is better for the street, plus your ears and passengers will thank you for it.

I had the racing medallion on my 95 EX for 3 years, and I just loved it. The power was okay, and the sound was music to my ears.

hyper racing medallion, love it, no buzz, no loud tone, just quiet and very nice at wot. 60mm piping and 100mm tip.

you could always have a 22" resonator installed, i had an 18" installed and it quieted the exhaust down quite a bit. unless you get it used or from a junkyard, the oem muffler is gonna be pretty expensive.

I have the Hyper medallion and i really like it but i have a v6 so it is probably really different than a 4cyl, but mine is really deep and i really like it and it does not get loud until WOT and then it is really nice sounding. One thing I know is that it is not louder than my intake cause everyone hears that over my exhaust.

HA-maybe the hyper but i don't know about it being the quietest one out there. the racing medallion is loud. my buddy with gsr used to have that exhaust and had so many exhaust tickets that one time the cop took his license plates away and had his car towed. he wouldn't give the plates back until he saw the car with stock exhaust. if you want quiet, try 5Zigen Fireball, A'PEXi WS, or RS*R EXMAG.

First off, use correct grammar, then learn some things about exhaust performance.

Its not crazy, its expensive, yes, but think of what your improving: going from a very restrictive OEM muffler to alot less restrictive larger piping, but you have to remember to not believe in "bigger is better". You want to find an exhaust system that will maximize air velocity and flow, ie bigger piping, while maintaining that restriction in order to keep pressure to increase flow, ie smaller piping. You just want to find that medium of pressure and flow. Usually 2.0-2.5in is good for max airflow for an H22, at least thats what ive been told. I run 60mm piping, tanabe hyper medallion, which is about 2.3in or something like that.

As far as price, i only paid 480 for mine shipped to my door, installed myself, just had to get some of the oem exhaust cut and welded with a new flange because the person that owned the car before me had the dp and cat welded together . Then I got a less restrictive cat. So far its done good for me.

on average driver,,,,,,,,like me i prefer stock exhaust quite.......wasting money on sum uneeeded mod is no good...rather dan saving sum of the money and buy urself sum food to eat...

im not telling you guys how to do this and dat.....just my opinion..

and yes, i speak bad english, so wat? u got a problem w/ dat (4gen)?

I absolutely love mine! It has a super deep tone and there were noticable gains.

The fitment and quality are perfect. I'm happy with mine!

Ok, for one, i do have the quietest exhaust ive ever heard, i dont annoy anyone, because I'm respectful of everyone around me, even you. And no, I will not indanger anybody's life, only my own when I race ONLY at the track. Thats my opinion. goodbye

I've had both the racing medalion, and the hyper super medalion on my car. The racing medalion was nice, not too loud, until i did the engine swap, and got my cams, then it sounded pretty wild, but that was with the baffle out. With the baffle in, it's pretty quiet.

The Hyper is nice, pretty quiet. But now I have a sleeper exhaust, that's like stock.
But sometimes i wish i could put my racing medalion at times.

I have the Super Medalion Racing Spec ... it sounds real good, have always gotten compliments on how the car sounds .. very heavy (not loud) but full of bass ..

I have it on an SiR-T Accord with an apexi power flow and it feels really good comparing to the stock (filter only) SiR-T Accords i have come accross .. so i know the gain is definately there with the cat-back system ... soon to visit the dyno

how do i post pics on this site?? I have a pic of it

upload the pics to http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com

place the url of the pics between the images tags, like this: "[ img ]http://location.of.your.pics.jpg[ /img ]" without the quotes or spaces within the brackets, of course.

also, pics go in the appearance forum, but if you do post them add a link in this thread cuz i wouldn't mind checking it out.
