found these and for the price look really nice. I dont do auto-xing but wouldnt mind doing it in the future. Am i going to cheap way out or are these good enough for my needs?

yeah right.
to me Tanabe's r&d and quality has fallen off in the past years.

anymore reviews? I was going for some Tein RAs but since i dont autox i decided $1600 might be a little to rich for my blood
consider zeal b2's.
i had a set of ra's. they were great coilovers.
however, tein's choice of finish on their products is not durable enough.

If you're looking for that price range, why not go for Koni yellows and Ground Controls??? No, it's not a true coilover setup, but it is an EXTREMELY proven setup that is very effective. No bling, just a bulletproof, killer setup.
bad experience with ground controls on my '00 Celica GTS, plus having pillow ball mounts would be nice and save installation time.
