tech question for all of you sport fwd peeps
Alright, most of you don't know me but I have a few questions. Alright currently I am building a car to compete in the sport fwd class. And I need some of you to shed some light on what size wheels and tires you guys use. I have a 92 civic hatch and I have to run a 15" wheel due to the brake set up I have. Really what my question is can I fit a 24.5x7 or 24.5x8 M&H fit in the wheel well with out sticking 3 or 4 inch's. and if so what offset wheel will I have to run. If some of you guys could maybe let me know what you are runnig it would be greatly appreciated.
I run 25x8x13's on my car. Since you cant run 13's , i guess you could run 26's, as long as your making at least 500hp or so. I personally dont think that would be "best" for your car, but then again your not stuck with alot of options. Im not sure what other 15 inch sizes they have..
he needs to run the 26x8x15's. i personally would change out my brakes if i were going to take the class even semi seriously. running 25x9's are a safer/better choice. especially making under 600 to the wheels.

how much power does this guy have?
he should probably start w/ the 24.5X8X15 M&H and decide from there whether its worth it to him to swap the breaks to run the 25's or if he actually needs the 26's.

the set up i have is a set of 2000 civic si front hubs. the deal is I cant change back to the stock hubs cause I have already pressed in the pro-drive hubs so im kinda stuck with what I have. I have a set of 24.5x8x13 slicks mounted on sum bogarts but how big of a spacer am I going to have to run so the wheels will clear the calipers? oh yeah, the car will hopefully make power in the 600's. oh yeah I appreciate all of the input guys.

I run bogarts over integra brakes as i said before and i use the spacer that bogart sells that bolts very nicely to the back of my dragon flys
I have to run a spacer with my 95 Civic EX brake calipers to run 13" Bogarts. When I initially ordered my Bogarts from Rich, he asked if the car was ABS or non-ABS. He sent me the non-ABS 13's, and they hit the calipers. Apparently the EX coupe has the same size calipers as the ABS Civics for that year. Anyway, Rich exchanged them for me, no problem. The new 13" Bogarts had the spacers built in. Hope that helps.
thanks for all of your help guys, I appreciate it . I guess I will have to give them guys at Bogart a call when I get to the shop tomorrow. by the way do you know of anyone selling a pair of skinnies (drag-on fly's of course) . I don't have the money lying around for a brand new set right now. my car needs them bad . I'm sure it will look funny with the bogarts up front and rota's out back.

You really can't run Skinnies in Sport FWD... you can but you have to run a DOT tire... and there hard to come by and no speed rated so it would be running them at your own risk
