Default shock question?

My question is do I really need the bumpstops...I just recenly upgraded my shocks to the KYB GR2 and notice that I'm missing one of the bumpstops (number 11 on the pic) on one of the rear shocks...will I really need this I'm too lazy to take out the shock and put it back again...and I had to replace part number 13 cuz it bent and I think it's because of not having a bumpstop caused it to bend...but then again my stock shocks were shot cuz the previous owner lowered the hell out of it...any help

Yes you need them. If your shocks bottom out, say on a pothole or large bump, then you could damage your suspension, especially the strut since there is nothing to absorb the impact. If you have soft springs mated with those shocks and your car is lowered, you'll definately need them. If your springs are pretty stiff and your car isn't too low, you MIGHT be OK but I wouldn't risk it.
