haha cool. i liked ur lil story.
i used to use hiper industries bulbs, other people had problems with them, but mine always lasted at least 6 months, they're only 16 bucks shipped on ebay. dont know if they are as bright as your ge ones though.

 

sweet y0, it's me! I haven't actually driven with these headlights yet because we put them in when I came back to school and parked. If you guys actually care about lighting differences, I can post back here tomorrow night and let you know how it is.

If I had $500 to waste on headlights...then I still wouldn't buy HID's. I would rather spend that $500 for something to make my car faster. HID's don't give you better 1/4mile times, unless of coure you get the ultimate JDM HID headlights, those shave 2 seconds off your time

Should have picked up some sylvania silverstars instead. Nice story btw, my favorite characters are the cronies.

Soooo, how do they actually look?
are they just another superwhite bulb?
they look different(no blue glass) are they just a really bright regular bulb, or are they actually blueish?

A really bright regular bulb would be kinda cool.
less "rice factor" but still improved night vision

 

Sylvania Silverstars are MUCH better... nice story, though.

IMO, you wasted $$ on those GE bulbs. Silverstarts definitely would have been better, but seriously...save up $400 and get a set of HID's. Out of every mod I've done to my car, the HID's are the most noticeable.

 

Nice buy, but what made change not to buy them any more?

Why didn't you get the HID's?

boy you sure can tell the diff betw. OEM and non-OEM HID.... I realllllly want OEM HID projectors.

your car doesnt go very fast when you hit deer and other random **** cuz you cant see **** at night... once you taste HID's you will never go back.

They are good until you can get hids. They are nice and bright white.

Haha...nice I'm tellin ya guys, for 17.88 and the light they provide, its hard to find a better deal
