EG rack vs. EF rack

Does anyone know if the steering rack on an EG (Si with PS) has the same ratio as an EF rack? I'm looking at buying an EG hatch (never driven one with PS) and I'm wondering. Does anyone make a quick ratio manual rack like has (supposedly, no one has reported if they have been delivered yet) been developed for EF's? One can swap the DC2R rack to an EG, correct? Thanks in advance.

Yes.

Its still power but that can be 'fixed'.

And EG and EF racks are not interchangeable.

What EF rack?

If you mean the one in this post https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=550831 EG units are also supposed to be available...when/if they get made. Hope they do, I need to tear mine apart anyway, why not throw in a 'cheater' rack and pinion while I'm at it?
