Default Cutting and re-welding the ITR b-pipe?

I need to have the ITR b-pipe cut in order for the seller to ship it to me. I was wondering if it will have any effect on the performance by having the b-pipe re-welded? I'm thinking it won't, but just wanted to make sure. Thanks.

Dang...cutting it would suck.
Try to find one locally imho.

Yeah, cutting does suck. But the damn b-pipe is so damn long, there is no way they can ship it. I tried finding ITR b-pipes locally, but they are rare.

If done properly it really shoudln't affect performance..

just make sure no welds get on the inside and it stays smooth in there.

Between the cost of the B-pipe, shipping, and welding, I think it would be more cost-effective to just have one made at a shop. That way it would be 2.25" (or whatever size you wanted) throughout, with no bottle-necks.

How much does it cost for a custom 2.5" mandrel bent b-pipe?

It would depend on the shop, but a rough estimate is probably around $225 or so.
