i have an opportunity ot buy my friends motor that runs 12.1 it's a built crvtec or i have a gsr shortblock that i wanna build and get my head ported, i'm tryin to figure out what would be better......the gsr will have 85 mm sleeves and a rlz head if i do it, the crvtec has 12to1 pistons and a fully built portflow head with toda b cams, i thin i could change a few things on the crvtec and make it a little faster but i'm tryin to figure out what to do??

 

I would go GSR with RLZ if you got the money..

 

yea it's gonna take a little time, but i can get this motor for a good deal, i'm just tryin to decide which setup would be better......

If the CRVtec was built by a reputable shop and you wanna race now go for it. If you want to wait 2 months minimum and taylor to what you want then do the GSR. It is getting into the fall/winter time so the wait might not be so bad.
