Default dyno ran my headertech header

I just recently got my header from enzo over at headertech, who is a really cool guy. service was top notch, although it was a little later then i expected but whata ya gonna do. I had my car on a dynapack before with a dc sport 4-1. test pipe, and tanabe exhaust(i know i know wack *** ****) i put down 184.9brake hp.......now i got a headertech header ss, 2.5testpipe, and custom 2.5in mandrel bent piping and i put down 194.9brake hp with no other upgrades. For some reason it is real hard to pull high numbers on my mechanics dyno, but i was told that this kind of hp is more accurate then whp so i should be happy with the results. It also was dynoed without an intake, i didnt have one at that moment but now i got a j's racing on there. Right now it just sounds like a straight race car. but i plan to put a 22in resonator on it asap and a small muffler. I would definently recommend this header without a doubt.
service
quality
power

you should be also adding fuel with Enzo's header, compared to the DC his header calls for more fuel cause of the more power its making.

you must have plenty of other things in your engine to pull 184 whp before the header. whatcha got in there?

thanks again for the compliments.

Be sure to check out titan motorsports header test as well. They will be testing one of our 4-1 headers.

so u gained 10HP with the headertech yet, u basically changed the whole exhaust system. im glad ur happy with the product, but in reality the test didnt show much at all.

thats a badass 1/4 time 1 2 NV. i put 177 to the wheels but i have 4-1 jdm itr headers and a small b16 intake. im hoping race headers and itr cai will bump me up to atleast 190 after they retune my hondata. too bad my car isn't as light as yours. i have a fat hatch.

aww c'mon give the guy credit...
exhaust wise it changed from tanabe to 2.5 mandrel.
a great improvement, but at under 2 liters and under 200whp..it's not like it was a MAJOR bottleneck IMO

Well at least he didn't lose power . Seriously lets say the header only contributed 5whp more and the other whp came from the exhaust (which I doubt). Still good gains IMO.

with the fuel adjustments, i am sure he got 12-15 actually out of it, if he went back and redyno'ed

going from 2.36ish to 2.5" exhaust and opening up the air flow with that header 10-15 hp is a nice gain..
