Default Gonna rebuild the engine and need advice

I have a d16a6 that i'm gonna rebuild cuz it burns oil. Anyways, i'm wondering what kinda internals should I go for when looking at performance mods? Which pistons are the best? What else should I add on for performance when doing a rebuild?

D16A1 pistons from a 88-89 integra will bump compression (to like 11.5:1)

Stock rods are fine for most NA applications.

dont you have to use different wrist pins when using the A1 pistons? or maybe that was when using LS rods. But anyway, i would bump the compression up to about 10.5:1 (but thats on cali gas) if you have better gas then go 11:1. You can use stock rods, but me personally when i go into a motor planning for a performance rebuild i change everything and machine everything that i can, that way i know everything can handle the abuse. Ok then i would port and polish the head, springs, retainers, valves, then have a cam matched to the power of the head, and that would be that.
