I don't really post, but this been on my mind for a while. I would like to know why, so much people talk so much trash, about body kits. If this is a rice thing than call me ricer. I don't really care. If I have a B18C with a turbocharger running 20 psi in my hatch would I be a racer too! I think some people got the wrong mentality about loving your car. almost every car in this forum look the same. i.e. lips, hood, no sit, rims, etc, and no one said anything about that. People who like body kit (in my opinion) just want to make their car look different. don't get me wrong I love this site, but some people in here are HATER. for me a car should be the way you want it to be. I am leader. I’m not follower. I like to have a street car not a show queen or track racer. I have a 93 hatch with a b18c (that’s jdm with 17” rh c2 and I will install a body kit made by me. My future plan is to go 18”, turbocharger with air suspension and an all around lights conversion. I also want to drive it every day if I could; see I’m doing my car the way I want it to be. My whole point is to not to hate on people just help them if you can. Tx!

this is Honda-Tech. the people that come here seem to love the stock look of the honda on its own. OEM and Mugen Kits own here. We don't like kits that make your honda look like a space ship or wings that make your car look like its actually going to take off. we look for quality parts and quality work to make our hondas what they are. none of the cars here are the same. they all have something just a little different. some of us do hate on people with big kits and wings, but if you post your pics up on the net your bound to have someone hate on you. if you don't want bad comments made about your car don't post a pic with a big kit or wings or altezzas or fart cans or DIY intakes or 20" bling rims or mono wipers or lighted exhaust tips/window squirters/valve caps/under body neons/ or..... anyone care to take this list over.

anyways someone with a huge motor and all the rice available from apc will get knocked on, but the motor will get respect.

 

y0 dont get me wrong everyone has their own opinion so i would be the last to talk trash, but u said ur not a follower, when ur gettin all around light conversion, well at least your right about that, your not following no one really does that now, but if u would of done it in 95 when that was actually cool, then you would be following..lol

 

Well, seeing as 18's look way too big and are much too heavy (and their style is usually questionable) on a hatch and air suspension sucks for cornering and launching and just about any other kind of go-fast **** that you can think of, you go ahead and follow through with your ricer plans and stay off of Honda-Tech. In fact, I'm going to go out of my way to call you a shiteating ricer in every thread you post in.

We will make fun of you for making your car look like ***...and you're not the first to do so, so you're not a "leader" at all, just a follower of a different, uglier bandwagon. A bandwagon with altezzas, a 6-foot wing and blinking rim lights.

 

that's my point, i wanted to do it before every body starter doing it. I'm from the lowrider time. i been into cars send i was 12 and I'm 25 now sometime money does not came easy. i had hydro on my car. i had swap on my car and bodykit too. i just do what i fill represent me to my car, but i will not do what every body is doing because is cool. i gave mad respect to the people who do the same. when i first bought my first civic there were no apc or air flow or muffler or anything like that for my car i came up with my own idea and make what ever i want it. sometime it work sometime it didn't and that' why I'm not a follower.

 

this is for me to u eat sh**. i don't like big wing or altezzas. i just like to look good while going fast. who r u to tell to stay out of this forum. just because u don't have the same oponion as me. stop hating u could do what ever u want to any of my post like i said before i could care less. i will try to help not hate. do what u like.

If people are going to post pics of their car and ask for opinions.....we are going to give them.

Body kits don't make you look different. Everyone into imports outside of Honda-Tech has a body kit.

You're not a "racer" if you want to put air ride in your car.

If you like your show car, do what ya want! People on this site are dicks about bodykits because the members who like ugly ones don't bother coming here anymore after their first few posts. So the thousands of us that stay are usually the ones who hate em.

If a car looks good, it looks good. There are tasteful body kits and very people will tell you there aren't. But most are tacky and trashy looking, and 16 year old ricers love them.

That's about it

 

This thread will go nowhere. Do what you want, period. Don't expect everyone to give you mad props for oversize wheels and air ride suspension, as I don't expect props for my checkerboard bucket on 15inch plus signs (type X).

PS: No modification on a Honda is original, light conversions, air ride, JDM parts, etc, have been done a million times by a million guys, get over it.

if you really want to go fast, why the hell are you going to do all that **** to your car. 17's will slow you down a ton, and now you are talking about 18's?? you are not going to go anywhere. plus a heavy *** body kit and air suspension. you are not into speed face it. your car (even though there may be a fast motor in it) is going to be slower than *****. why did you post this thread again???

I have a bodykit on my car, I know that other peolpe on this board may not like it, but a lot of people do, don't let it offend you so much.

Just realize the fact that you cannot please everyone.
