ok.. changine to 18 and doing a compression test. I also thought I just might post a little story last night....
I dont condone street racing by ANY means so last night I decided to take it to the bush. SO, after much debate a pack of only about 15 cars follow my lead and we head to a quiet little road in the middle of the sticks. This road really resemebles soimething out of the blair witch project, trees towering on either side. Best thing about is though, is the clear line of vision about 3 kms in either direction. As I am the 'organise' I volunteer to keep watch for any oncoming traffic whilst our frivolous friends in nissan r33 skylines, s15 200sx (turbo), s14 nissan, honda vtir, honda dc5 rsx, toyota starlet and yours truly itr decide to battle it out..
First few rounds proved quite entertaining. Here are the results
vtir vs starlet .......... vtir winner
vtir vs dc5 ........... vtir
now the vtir has 5zigen exhaust, headers, cai and thats about it.
so onto the next results
ITR vs skyline with huge front mount ......... even
ITR vs 2nd skyline................ ITR drew in thrid but nearly got taken in fourth,,,, lucky for the end of the road
ITR vs s14..... even
ITR vs starlet........ can anyone say waxed
I'll try and describe my race with tthe s14. Now this isnt your typical s14. It appears stock apartf from the shopping list and carbon fibre wing. He's actually a mate of mine so i'm keeping the bagin to a minimal. Engine mods he has larger exahust, bnoost controller, BOV and a few other goodies. First race we start from standing. I dial her up to 6500 and wait. ?GO! I feather off the clutch and am rapidly spinning still, we both manage to grab traction at the same time. my first gear is screaming as it nearly bounces off 9300 rpm. The s14 catches me whilst changing intosecon. "oh crap" im thinking but wait, here comes VTEC. BOOM. Vtec kicks in and again I draw slightly on the 14. At this stage in time I''d really like to thank honda for their really long gearing and rev limit.....
ANYway 2nd gear we're headlight to head light I hear him change and my tacko is fast apporaching 8900 rpm, only 500 rpm to go. I snap change into 3rd. Were even.
So I guess the old ITR does have a couple of *****. You shoulda seent he look on my mates face. "whadda" ya done to the engine he retorts... "stock" I replied. as the power fc controller switches to a dim glow in the background.
So heres a quick heads up on my car.
18c5 spoon engine, spoon headers, 2,5 exahust, mildly tuned at 16 BTDC. Also have various sussy work. thanks for ya time. I'm goign to get back to me thesis now!!!

well since honda didnt wanna give the us a milano type r i am gonna try and come as close as possiable with my milano ls.....we will see what happens....woohoo
