Default Alarm Troubles

hey guys my alarm is acting all weird now

when i hit the lock button it will lock or unlock my doors but none of the other buttons on the remotes work, the led stays solid no matter what. And the alarm wont arm.

now i tried to run a radar dector cord from the top of the dash down but i didint go anywhere near my wires for my alarm..

any suggestions guys? so parniod! my dads car got broken into 2 nights ago now this stuff happens to me

is it a Viper system?

It sounds like you're in valet mode. Look in your owners manual on how to get it out of the just keyless mode

no its not a viper its a american accesories

my buddy didint even wire up a valet switch so i dunno

i did hit the alarm button by mistake when the ingantion was tured thou, could it be in program mode?

hey thanks budd i just took another look at the owners manual under valet mode and it turns out i was in valet mode, i totaly thought u need a switch to get itno valet mode

anyway the alarm works now..thanks bro! heres a to you
