oil pressure gauge question

Default oil pressure gauge question

for the people who have ran an oil press. where is the best place to run the
oil line through your fire wall. will i have to do some drilling or can anybody
tell me a better way

I would go electronic rather than mechanical. I don't like the idea of a oil line in my car in the event that i would leak.

To pass tech at an event with Oil pressure guage i believe you have an isolator thing i forget what is really is but it hits the oil with coolant so it isn't flammable and won't burst into flames with you in it!

well forget pasing tech just to be safe

I recently put one in. I routed the line on the upper right of the fenderwell where your harness goes to the dash. Since the oil is at its coolest point, there is no danger of melting away wires with the heat in the line.

electric is like 10 bucks more and well worth it IMO auto meter makes them both and you can get them at either jegs or summit

if you do a search there is a bunch of threads that cover this topic, but you tee it off where your oil pressure sender switch is on the back of your block near your oil filter
