Picking up my B17A block on Sunday and starting my build.
Will consist of balenced crank, Crower B17 rods, 85mm Arias 12.6:1 pistons, RS Machines 85mm sleeves stepped.

they are good motors, but not really the best bang for the buck. They have only slightly more power and potential than a b16a yet cost more (and will have a lot higher miles). Its definitely not a bad motor... there are just usually cheaper ways to get the same power.
with all that said.... I have a b17a. Simple rebuild so far, just oversized p30 pistons, 13lb flywheel, and an exedy clutch. I loved it until I had fuel problems and ended up washing out my rings
